It gives us great pleasure to announce that Bluprint UK have now sold over 10,000 Blue Glass anti-marking jackets for Heidelberg presses!
The milestone comes after the best consecutive years of Blue Glass jacket sales since 2006, showing demand is as great as ever.
Blue Glass was developed as an anti-marking film by Printing Research Inc, the creators of Super Blue, and converted to jackets for Heidelberg with the addition of hardware and a sleek white backing.
Blue Glass jackets have become the go-to premium cylinder covering for printer’s around the world. Its unique coating and optimised glass-bead surface has seen the converted jackets sold to printers and dealers in 37 countries.
In the excitement, we also ran the numbers for our Blue Glass anti-marking film, sold as standard by Komori. We've cut and sheeted enough of the branded film to cover three football pitches - that is close to 5½ acres of film!
