Engineering Manager, Paul Fenech, told us about Crane Currency's experience with LMC Jackets for their 12-colour Komori LC 32.
Overall Rating: ★★★★☆
"Not used LMC Jackets before but, to date, a good performance."
Why LMC Jackets?
Crane Currency were buying original Komori Japan supplied jackets. But as we know, OEM suppliers have raised prices steadily for a long time. These rising costs were the biggest factor that led Paul to look elsewhere. He found LMC Jackets and after speaking with the Bluprint UK team, realised the value of LMC Impression Jackets for Komori. Overall, Paul was able to save Crane Currency around one third of the price on original Komori jackets.

Installation
The Currency LC32 is a specialised multicolour double-deck offset press with a maximum printing speed of 12,000 sheets per hour, which is available as an 8, 10 or 12 colour press. They installed the 22 jackets on their press, which operates similar to a Komori Super-Perfector (below) with two jackets per cylinder. The installation put LMC Impression Jackets on most units including the UV units.
