Bluprint UK were proud to sponsor EarthIsland's David ‘Monty’ Montandon as he completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Joining some 16,000 other cyclists on a hot Sunday, the Marauders team, made up of the very able Montandon brothers – Stefan and Nathan – along with their dad Monty, completed the challenging 54 mile ride from Clapham Common to the very welcome sight of Brighton beachfront.
This was to raise money for the British Heart Foundation – which has helped to halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease, but more needs to be done – and to date Monty and the team have raised almost £1000 – thanks in large part to some very generous donations from people in the graphic arts industry.
Since its beginning 41 years ago, the event has raised over £65 million for the BHF, with over 800,000 cyclists taking part and pedalling more than 400 million miles.
Monty’s Just Giving page is still open if you would like to support this brilliant cause.
